I treat your wedding photographs as artwork.
I still choose film over digital because film provides a better print quality. The more expensive digital cameras can capture the same range as film. But when it comes to the final product, the physical print, film is still the champion. The only digital prints that rival film prints are the very expensive IRIS or Giclée prints, and do not last as long due to fading of the inks. Black and white photographs printed on fiber-based paper have been proven to last over 200 years. |

Both color film and prints fade due to organic materials, which degrade
over time. I have carefully chosen labs which process film cleanly and
without scratches, to ensure the maximum life of your photographs. I can
have your
photos hand printed to ensure the best quality in paper and color
retention.
Working with the film and prints from your wedding is a labor intensive and time consuming process. Using fiber-based paper for my hand printed black and white enlargements ensures the highest quality, both in artistic vision and in print longevity. Your wedding day is one of the most important and emotion filled days of your life. I am happy to offer you options to preserve these memories. |
